Your First Visit

Welcome to Jerome L. Faist, DDS!

About Your First Dental Visit:

Thank you for considering our dental practice in Beachwood OH for your dental needs. Our goal is to provide you with high quality general, family, and cosmetic dentistry in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Our team has over 100 years of collective dental experience (Dr. Faist has over 30) including continuing education to stay abreast of the rapidly changing field of dentistry. We take great care in the relationships we have developed with our patients over the years and look forward to having the opportunity to welcome you into our dental family.

Whether you are in great oral health and looking to maintain your smile with oral wellness visits or have some dental issues that may require treatment, you want to be sure you have a dentist you can trust who has vast experience in dentistry and also the compassion and caring to understand your needs and the best way to effectively treat them.

Your first visit in our Beachwood, OH dental office will be a comprehensive oral evaluation with one of our hygienists and Dr. Jerry Faist.  During this time, we will review your medical and dental history information.  We will assess any previous dental x-rays we received* and take additional x-rays as necessary to thoroughly examine your teeth and your overall oral health.  Your cleaning, if simple, can sometimes be done in the same day as your initial visit. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require an evaluation and a second appointment in order for us to adequately allow the appropriate time necessary to begin treatment.

Should you require a second appointment, Dr. Faist will create an individualized treatment plan and present it to you at that time. This appointment is especially reserved to help you understand the recommended treatment as well as a great time for us to answer any questions or concerns your may have.

*If your previous dentist has taken recent x-rays (within 12-months), you may request that they forward them to our office. Full mouth x-rays are current if taken within three years.

  • We are grateful for the wonderful things our patients say about us and our proud to share some of those comments here:

We look forward to having the opportunity to serve you.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us should you have any questions about your initial dental visit with us.
